The Simple Plan – Atlanta & DC Wrap-ups

In the last month we have been fortunate to work with some AMAZING wedding professionals in Atlanta and Washington DC.  Collaborating with so many great minds on our individual business plans has been extremely eye-opening.  I continue to learn as I teach.  This is why The Simple Plan is for everyone.  Planning is NEVER done.  And, there is always something new to learn.  Plus – it’s FUN!  I promise.

Atlanta

Ben Vigil captured the Atlanta workshop for us.  Thank you for such beautiful images, Ben!  We held the workshop at 103 West, which was accommodating of our every desire.  They were FABULOUS to work with.  The service was top-notch, the food divine, and the ambiance was beautiful.  We co-presented with Lara Casey of Lara Casey Reps and Wendy Robinson of Aspire to Plan.  Lara’s marketing presentation knocked my socks off.  Her knowledge of niche, market analysis, and branding is never-ending.  Wendy’s financial presentation set us straight!  Her ability to explain challenging concepts makes the $ & # seem painless.

Washington DC

Allison Britton shot the lovely images for the Washington DC workshop.  Allison, a million thanks for your attention to detail!  (Read Allison’s post about the workshop on her blog.)  We held The Simple Plan DC at Cafe Deluxe.  Needless to say, they fulfilled with every need we had.  And, we did not go hungry!  (Wow, I still dream of those desserts.)  We presented with Kate Parker of My Kate Parker Weddings who shared with us her triumphs and challenges in her own business.  Her marketing smarts are cutting edge.  Wendy Robinson of Aspire to Plan, joined us in DC also.  We love Wendy’s ability to keep things simple.
